How to Schedule Automated Messages on Airbnb Like a Pro
Scheduling messages on Airbnb (or any property management software for that matter) can be a huge help to busy hosts, and can cut back communications with guests about 80-90% when compared to not having scheduled messages.
I would recommend scheduling around 5 messages to be sent automatically to your guests, to make sure that their check-in and check-out process goes smoothly. The first message can be sent right when a guest makes a booking, then one can be sent two days before the check-in, one at check-in, one the night before check-out, and finally one the day they check-out.

Message Template Guide
If you need a starting point to help you write out your scheduled messages, you can consider downloading my Scheduled Messages Template Guide. The downloadable guide will give you pre-written ideas for each of the five messages I always recommend having for every rental property. Please be sure to customize the messages according to what makes sense for your space!
Airbnb Shortcodes
For things like check-in times and check-out times you can use the "shortcodes" provided by Airbnb so that they are inputed automatically into your message. Shortcodes are placeholders that dynamically fill in guest, reservation, and listing details when the message is sent to the guest. HOWEVER, please be sure to add the information that ties back to the shortcodes you use in your listing’s details, because if you haven't added the corresponding information yet, the shortcode will display as “/unavailable/” in the message.
