Getting Started

Follow these easy steps to start hosting on Airbnb! If you have questions, don’t worry. I can guide you every step of the way!

STEP 1:

First, make sure it’s legal.

  • Click here to read some important information regarding local regulations for Airbnbs.

  • If you are in the US, click here and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page in the “Local regulations” section. Find your city, county, or region-specific information linked there.

    If you still can’t find the information you need, you can join a local Airbnb Host Club on Facebook to talk with the community and ask for location-specific advice.

  • If you are listing a place that is anywhere outside of the US, click here.

STEP 2:

Start creating your listing.

  • First, click here to start a new hosting profile on Airbnb.

    Then, click here to join the FREE Airbnb Ambassador Program and connect with me as your Ambassador.

  • Click here to start creating your first listing on Airbnb. If you used my link, I will be able to help you directly the Airbnb platform.

    The process will start as a step-by-step questionnaire to help you fill out all of the more general required information for your listing.

    Don’t worry if it’s not perfect. It will be a lot easier to go in and edit your listing once you finish the questionnaire part, and gain access to your Hosting Dashboard.

    For photos, you can start with a few simple pics taken with your smartphone or any camera.

STEP 3:

Hit Publish!
Trust Me!

  • Just be sure to set your calendar availability setting to “unavailable by default” and/or you can decide to turn off your Instant Book feature for now, if you don’t want people to be able to book a stay yet. Once you’re ready to start hosting, you can go in and open up the dates you feel comfortable with on your calendar.

  • I know it’s intimidating, but you have to hit publish to be able to access your complete Hosting Dashboard, where you will be able to add all kinds of special features and details to your listing. After you publish, you will be able to continue modifying and updating your listing as many times as you like.

  • I repeat: you will always be able to go back into your listing to change any details or photos!

    So don’t worry too much and give it a go! After you publish, you will gain access to the full Hosting Dashboard where you can add a lot of more information (and the more you add, the better for the Airbnb algorithm to prioritize your listing in the search ranking
